Screen printing

This is a direct printing process, whereby the colour is transferred to a fabric stencil that transfers the ink directly to the cardboard through the mesh openings.
Screen printing is normally a semi-automatic process, so a maximum of 2 colours are used.
This printing gives greater coverage and detail compared with flexographic printing but is much slower to carry out.
It can be used on corrugated cardboard, paper and flat cardboard.
