It was 2002 when, in Viale dell’Industria no.17 in Sarmeola, Italy, Argex started out on its adventure.
This adventure is the story of the gamble of investing in a sector such as that of cardboard packaging, which has countless applications, but which at that time was totally unknown to me, as I came from the fabric packaging sector, where my family had worked for years.
The early years were, of course, difficult. Carving out a place in an already saturated market was not easy. Often we had to take on things our competitors were unwilling to do, because they were too complex or unprofitable.
As the years passed, things changed and, thanks to our constant, serious commitment, we managed to build a new production plant and to introduce new machines for automated production which, with the arrival of new staff, enabled us to carve out our share of the market.
Today Argex re-commits to its first objective – to offer clients top-quality packaging with faster delivery times and reasonable costs.
As we have been doing for the past 10 years.
